Ben Hall studied W. African percussion with Jumma Santos and trapset and precognition with Milford Graves at Bennington College in where he also worked with Bill Dixon on his last small group recordings. Hall is currently a research fellow at the Center for the Advancement of Public Action at Bennington College.
